Are you interested in bringing Artificial Intelligence (AI) to the next level, the human level? At Chatlayer.ai we want to achieve just that, for chat and voice bots, on our low-code/no-code platform.

We developed an easy to use Conversational AI platform that lets our clients build and maintain even the largest and most complex bots, no coding required. We built our AI entirely in house, including our speech-to-text algorithm. And our natural language understanding algorithms can understand more than 100 languages out of the box, even if you trained it in just 1 language.

This is just the beginning. We can do lots more and we need your DevOps talent to make it scale!

The essence of the role

At Chatlayer.ai we work together to create the best experience for our users. We are allergic to analysis paralysis. But we don’t mind testing out new solutions in real life, because a minimal viable feature is always better than a thousand words. So, in collaboration with our customers we build software that solves their conversational design problems. And we go the extra (s)mile to make them happy, because there are no stupid questions, there is – mostly – only bad software.

As a DevOps Engineer you will be an important part in our scale-up journey. You will scale and maintain the Chatlayer.ai platform. And when we say scale we mean it! You’ll get to scale an infrastructure 100x.

As our new DevOps Engineer you will:

As a DevOps Engineer you will scale and maintain the Chatlayer.ai platform.
Set-up new infrastructure with Terraform
Manage Kubernetes clusters
Build and improve CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment
Set-up monitoring for our infrastructure and services

Support developers in adding new services in a scalable and reliable way

In order to contribute in this role you have:

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent skills
Fluent in English
Programming and scripting skills
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Working knowledge of Linux and networking

The ability to work independently and take matters into your own hands
The ability to quickly learn new technologies and successfully implement them

Big plus!

You’ll stand out from the crowd if you have:

Experience with Python, Go, Terraform, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, JavaScript
Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure
Notions of machine learning and NLP
Knowledge of conversational design
